'LITTLE WOMEN' EXHIBITION

Mixed media exhibition show casing the work of 5 artists in their second year studying Fine Art at Leeds Arts University. Painters Jade Connolly and Becca Barron exhibit alongside film artist Bethany Chamberlain and sculptors Lucy Clayton and Anna Davies.
THE ARTISTS
Artists Bethany Chamberlain, Becca Barron, Jade Connolly, Lucy Clayton and Anna Davies from Leeds Arts University collaborate in a mixed media exhibition at Wharf Chambers. The exhibition, titled 'Little Women', explores a range of subject matters and mediums.
Portrait artist, Becca Barron, explores ideas of beauty in modern digital age society and how it is affected by social media. Her work challenges ideas as to what makes someone beautiful, through the reconstruction and distortion of the face.
Anna Davies is a sculptor and multimedia artist studying and working out of Leeds Arts University. Her work revolves around the roles and responsibilities of being a young women growing up in the millennial
generation.
Sculptor, Lucy Clayton, explores ideas associated with the Anthropocene: the period in which human activity has had a detrimental impact on the environment.
Jade Connolly is a painter who explores interiors through painting.
​Film artist, Beth Chamberlain, explores themes of continuity and repetition through the exploration of digital and Super 8 films. With an interest in the philosophy of existentialism, the work investigates through time-based media, the anxieties and reassurances of reoccurrence.
